Wholesale dried apricots

We sell yellow (sulphured) and sun-dried (natural, unsulphured) dried apricots from the Malatya apricot region wholesale, by size number. Each size has its own product page with its calibre and uses; this page brings them together and helps you pick the right number. We ship across Türkiye and are open to requests from abroad — packaging, documents and delivery terms are agreed per order.

Which buyer takes which size?

The size choice usually follows the sales channel. The split below is not a strict rule but a common trend in the trade — tell us your quantity and intended use and we will settle it together.

Nut & dried-fruit aisles, retail and gift packs

Outlets where visible size matters usually prefer the top calibres (Jumbo – No 3): Jumbo & No 1 Yellow Apricot, Extra Yellow Apricot No: 2, Large Yellow Apricot No: 3 and their sun-dried counterparts Natural Sun-Dried Apricot Jumbo & No 1, Natural Sun-Dried Apricot No: 2 (Extra), Natural Sun-Dried Apricot No: 3 (Large).

Wholesalers, nut shops, mass catering

Bulk purchases where the price/tonnage balance matters usually prefer the mid calibres (No 3 – No 5): Standard Yellow Apricot No: 4, Commercial Yellow Apricot No: 5 and on the sun-dried side Natural Sun-Dried Apricot No: 4 (Standard), Natural Sun-Dried Apricot No: 5 (Commercial).

Pastry, lokum, jam and the food industry

Productions where the fruit is processed and changes form prefer small sizes and pieces: Industrial Yellow Apricot No: 6-8, Natural Sun-Dried Apricot No: 6-8 (Kitchen) and Industrial Sun-Dried Apricot Pieces & Biscuit Grade.

Packers, processors and buyers abroad

Companies that pack under their own brand, process the fruit or sell it on abroad usually look for steady, repeat lots in a specific size number. Tell us which size, which season and how much you need; we will work out a calibrated lot plan together. If you are buying from abroad, add the destination country: packaging, documents and delivery terms are agreed per order.

Yellow or sun-dried?

Yellow apricots are dried with controlled sulphuring; their bright golden colour and long shelf life stand out. Sun-dried apricots are dried directly in the sun without sulphur and are chosen for their dark bronze colour and natural, additive-free label. Frequently asked questions

What does calibre (size number) mean?

Calibre shows the number of fruits in 1 kilogram. The smaller the number, the larger the apricot: Jumbo and No 1 are the largest, No 6-8 the smallest. See the detailed table in our calibre and size guide. Calibre and size guide

How are dried apricots stored — can they get infested?

Stored in the right conditions (cool, dry, airtight packaging), dried apricots keep for a long time; if moisture and temperature are not controlled, the risk of infestation rises. We prepared a separate guide with storage advice. Storage and infestation prevention guide

What determines the dried apricot price?

No single item sets the price: the season's crop, size number, quantity, delivery point and packaging choice are all reflected together. A net figure is given once the quantity and delivery point are clear. Factors that set the price
